Two Worlds
Spring League 2026
Rules and Guidance
Welcome to the 2026 FFR Spring League. This is our yearly event that pits teams of racers against each other for a chance at glory. Note, however, that a few things have changed to the format since Fall League 2025. This year's Spring event will be between teams of three (3) players, with the schedule expanded to seven (7) weeks, the first four (4) of which are open to all teams, with a two (2) week semi-finals bringing in a max of eight (8) teams, all before finals between the two (2) teams (and a brozen match between the next two (2) teams).
We invite all interested players to come and join the league, form a team, and get ready for the delightful chaos of this year’s event. Please make sure to have all members of your team read these rules, and the General Rules and Guidance for Tournaments and Leagues, before registering for this event.
About the League
Players will group up in teams of three (3), no more or less. Each week of League will feature different flags (listed below in the “League Flags” section) and three (3) races of that flagset (with different seeds) each week. Each player on the team must race once each week (and only once unless prior approval is given that week by the League Staff).
Tournament Structure:
During the first four weeks, the League will be open to all teams. Once the first four (4) weeks are over, points will be totaled and half the teams will then move into Semi-Finals, capped at eight (8) teams. They then compete in semi-finals during the next two (2) weeks (all other teams are, at this point, out of the League). For semi-finals, points are not reset (unlike it previous Leagues). Instead, scores will carry over but bucket points during these two (2) weeks will be doubled. This gives some teams an advantage if they did well during the main weeks of league, but doesn't make their score so outlandish that no one else can catch up. At the end of semi-finals, scores are totaled again and the top two (2) teams will complete in the “Gold Medal” match, while the next two (2) teams can compete, if they so choose, in a “Bronze Medal” match.
As is tradition, the Finals Week races will be a Rally Race (for Gold and Bronze), although because teams are now made up of three players, it will be a 3v3 relay. Details are provided in the General Rules and Guidance for Tournaments and Leagues.
Important Dates:
League Schedule:
Dates and times for the specific games will be settled closer to League start. A survey will go out to all registered players in order to determine each player's availability. Scheduled days for the matches will be determined based on a schedule that will suit at least one day/time for each player on the team. The schedule will be created based on the submitted information for all players and we will ensure as best as possible that every player can make at least one race. If your team signs up after the schedule survey has been closed, then your team will need to conform to the schedule already posted. No changes will be made once the schedule is posted.
League Points:
Scoring for the races will be handled via “bins” (meaning that players that come within a certain amount of time from each other will score the same amount of points). This helps to “flatten” the scoring curve and keep competitive teams within closer distance of each other. A full breakdown of the bin system for scoring is available in the General Rules and Guidance for Tournaments and Leagues. Unlike in past years, bonus points for each week will not be offered.
Additional points will be awarded for assisting with race crew during the week (1 point per slot filled, with a maximum number points per team determined by how many teams we have in the league).
League Flags:
Spring League 2026 is the story of two worlds slowly breaking apart, with a band of heroes fighting to unify and restore the scattered planes. Each week tells a story leading to the final battle to save the world.
Note: Dark World flags will need the use of the Dark World Resource Packs (which will be linked in the flagset and should auto-load from the wiki) and the Dark World map (which players will need to load in themselves).
