Week 1: Vanilla-ish-ish Original Flags Updated Race Flags Take a stroll through the vanilla game... with a twist. Characters will start with key items, so you'll have a leg up on your adventure. Choose wisely and take the items, and the party members, you need to get through the game. Improved Vanilla base flags to give you that proper, improved, default Final Fantasy experience. Characters start with Key Items Blursing is turned on. Characters will have one extra, random Class Blursing as well. Reduced prices and encounter rate. Boosted EXP rate. (Updated flags) Free Sarda Item, Free Ordeals, making some starting key items more valuable. Week 2: Oops, All Loose! It's item confetti time as all the items are loose and scattered around the world. Check everywhere because you never know where your next item will be. All Loose: There are no incentivized locations. Every chest and NPC could result in your progression. Unleash the Loot Goblin! Mid ToFR: Not quite short, not quite long, just right. Week 3: E/F/T Shards It's a mixed up world with a whole lot to find. You're going to be checking locations, and checking boxes, to find your end game. Entrance/Floor/Town Shuffle: Towns are still towns, entrances are still entrances, but things are shuffled up. Prepare to be lost. Short ToFR: Confusing worlds deserve uncomplicated ToFRs. Shard Hunt: Killing the fiends is not required, but they do turn into shards. Otherwise, it’s time to loot goblin. You’ll need 28 total. No Spike Tiles: It prevents some blockages and reduces experience. The best news! Extended Open Progression: You can walk to Elfland without the canoe. Hurray! WarMECH, Guardian of the Masamune: Find the trapped box, you’ve got a masa and an exp pinata. Week 4: Mage Masher It's time to let your magic fly free as we have mixed up classes and a whole lot of crazy shenanigans afoot. Pink Mage, Black Knight, White Ninja: Spell permissions have been changed up for the Red Mage, Knight, and Ninja. They’re now opposite their usual options. No BB Allowed: Punch Mage is merely a meme, this week we’re only using real magic casters. Random Incentive Locations: There are incentives but they will be in a different chest than usual. Prepare to open a few in any given incentive location before you find the incentive item. Week 5: MECHDonalds WarMech is out there, and he's hungry. You better gear up, level up, and get ready because you're going to be in for the fight of your life. WarMech and Friends Alt Final Boss: Be prepared for 2 WarMechs and 6 EvilMen as your final encounter. Northern Docks: You can dock at Onrac and the desert near Mirage Tower. Routing will be different Legendary Weapon and Armor Shops: These shops can appear in random out-of-the-way locations. Check the help box in the Shops and Magic section for location details. Trapped Chests With Rare Items: 50 chests will be marked and will require you to fight a battle to get the extra good item inside. Reduced MP Charges: All classes have slightly reduced MP caps. Lean on those weapons. 3 Bonus, 1 Malus: Worth calling out since we haven’t had a lot of Maluses.
