Randomania's Tournaments of Hope, which benefit The Bail Project, willf feature an FFR Chaos Rampage mini-tournament. Event starts at 3:00 PM EST on January 31, 2020. Gonna be a lot of fun, and it will help a great charity.
The plan is for a one day, eight runner tournament (runners decided by a qualifier race). The deadline for signing up is December 31, 2020 but is subject to change.
Streaming instructions for runners
- Please must use the provided JSON file for their race.
- In OBS, go to “Scene Collection” -> Import. Select the JSON file you just downloaded, then click “Import”.
- Select “Scene Collection -> Randomania_Tournaments_Of_Hope” from the menu bar.
- Expect the OBS setup screen to load like this:
- Place your game capture in the box.
- Other settings:
- Settings -> Output
- Maximum Video Bitrate: 2000 kbps
- Maximum Audio Bitrate: 160 kbps
- Settings -> Video
- Base (Canvas) Resolution: 1920x1080
- Output (Scaled) Resolution: 1280x720
- FPS: 60
- Please mute your microphones during play!
- If the tournament allows it, you may join a Discord call if you wish, but you must split your stream microphone with the Discord call. We recommend using Virtual Audio Cable and Voicemeeter Banana for this purpose.
- Settings -> Output
- Stream to your Twitch channel as normal.
- This format, above, makes it easy for the restreamer to change streams between races
- We apologize for having you stream to your Twitch channel; Randomania does not have an RTMP server
- Please remain live throughout the tournament. We will instruct you when it is time to cut. (It will be shortly after you are eliminated from the tournament)
